DH gone off to bed. Think i'm in bad books :o He made me some porridge about an hour ago as I missed dinner. Trouble was it was so thick my spoon actually stood up by itself :rotfl: Tried adding more milk but just went lumpy  Think he thinks I'm being ungrateful. Don't quite know how hard it is to understand liquid diet tough.... Sunday I got scrambled eggs on toast... :rotfl:

Aww bless him for trying :A Chuck the porridge if he's gone to bed. Ive chucked alot food in my time. A carrier bag on top is good for hiding it in the bin ;). You don't need to worry until he stops trying to feed you :D
I bet that you being ungrateful hasn't even crossed his mind!! That's you Logie, You've so obviously got a very good man there! In my psychology mode :D, you are worried about the effect your illness and treatment is having on him, rightly so. He is obviously devoted and it hasn't even crossed his mind :)

Hi, good morning everyone and good night!:D

Avs Sains list for now. (Done the Savvy Buys - selected very very few of them:D, the under £1 and the Top Offers - should go on to look at the offers section in every 'shelf' on msm - I'm sure you can find more!).

But seems a lot still very pricey for me. Not to get me onto packs of fruit:eek:.

Before I go, the Orchard 'Fun Size' Pears are 79p in Lidl today, but they were the only thing I bought as everything else seemed just way too expensive.

Goodbye - see you late tomorrow, after the Morries check.:)

My shop tonight Asda vs Morries. I'm having no luck with the milk! Could have sworn last time I bought these milks it was the same price - after mucking up with the Cravendale decided to stick with 'normal' ones.

13 items (10 different) on your bill qualify for comparison ASDA Morrisons
    +£1.88

    1 x ASDA Smartprice Skimmed UHT Milk (1L) £0.53 £0.53
    2 x ASDA Welsh Semi Skimmed Milk 4 Pints (2.27L) £2.00 £2.98
    1 x ASDA Welsh Skimmed Milk 4 Pints (2.27L) £1.00 £1.49
    1 x Dr. Oetker Ristorante Funghi Pizza (365g) £2.00 £1.25
    1 x Dr. Oetker Ristorante Speciale Pizza (330g) £2.00 £1.25
    1 x Dr. Oetker Ristorante Mozzarella Pizza (335g) £2.00 £1.25
    1 x Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Pepperoni & Salame (32... £2.00 £1.25
    1 x Danio 0% Strained Yogurt with a Cherry Layer (160g... £0.85 £0.50
    1 x Douwe Egberts Pure Indulgence Instant Coffee (190g... £4.00 £4.00
    3 x Douwe Egberts Pure Gold Medium Roast Coffee (190g) £12.00 £12.00

    Comparison total £28.38 £26.50

Sorry the Flora Buttery didn't work. Savvy I did look at your lists but didn't see it on there - was tired, so apologies.

Savvy IF any of the 6 items compared elsewhere then if you buy at Tescos (law to themselves on what they compare) and it does compare favourably the petrol voucher gives you 5p off every litre up to 100 litres so you save £2 on 40lts or £5 on 100lts. IF the buttery had worked then basically you'd be getting it free & m,oney back on a tankful.

Have you seen any of the other items in the petrol promo in Morrison's at a better price? I did look for all of them except the lager as we don't drink - however our nearest store is pretty new and haven't found my way around it properly - except for whoopsies. :)

Mmmm. Not sure I follow this totally, as seems to me to be spending more than I would in a single transaction to get a few pence off per litre. Not caught up, and sorry I don't know what's in the T promotion - going v.v. soon and no time to get the details to check (I'm sorry this comes too late) - unless you can post a list of the exact items in the T promotion and I'll check that. Will need to be pretty quick posting it.

I will however see, in any event, all the items that are on good offer in M so should see most of that, in due time, on the M list. To the post about the Cura-Heat, yes I've seen the £2.66 price in M - and sort of not attracted too much to a figure in pounds:D - will look at it more now, due to it being on here.:)

Surely if you're spending say £50 on groceries (I am just making assumptions, haven't since the T promotion), then with maximum £10 back, that's still spending £40. Whereas if the total M bill was £20 (e.g. half price offers) but you bought all that in A, perhaps a full price approximately £40, you would get the £20 back (all being well) and make the £2 on the 10%. Without having to spend £40 (after the PP) and then able to buy A's cheaper petrol in the first place. (In effect, A's scheme, spend is £20. And then £2 off that. You wouldn't qualify towards M's pay day offer though.)

Assuming you have an A near to you and aren't sadly in a T exclusive area.
