Morning misty here this morning but very warm. It's going to be hot later.

I tried to use 4 j20 mocs yesterday with 2 ES and 2 Rust and a price promise but the sa said the till wouldn't accept all 4 it kept saying no.
So I took the other 2 to CS who eventually gave me the £2.

Has anybody had these scan? Am I doing something wrong? Also they are a full A4 have any of you managed to reduce the size? TIA

J20 don't scan in - the sa has to enter the number on barcode and then manually enter price. That way it was with mine anyhow:D

Throat is likely to get worse for another week or so as the effects of radiation are delayed. Still on my soft food diet but feel starving. Even getting pain eating soup now. It'll be worth it though. It won't be forever and it's my best chance at the moment :)

That's exactly it, mind much more focussed now. Try to make the most of everything, including the money we have :money: No point in wasting it when we can use what we've saved to have fun :) I'm on the medicinal vodka  Bargain vodka of course ;):D

Aw Logie the throat thing is supposed to be a real PITA - feel for you :A

    Morning lovelies.

    A maths question to ponder.

OH is a coke drinker - either Pepsi Max or Coke zero

Whenever the price difference has been good I got a good stash together and in between he was drinking Bavaria lager until it ran out and Bavaria shandy, plenty of that left and a few other assorted cans and bottles.

But now he is back on cans of coke and we are very rapidly running out. He drinks 3 cans every night which is 990ml, just under a litre.

I am not sure wether to switch back to 2 litre bottles again if its cheaper. He tends to not quite drink the last bit if a bottle as he says it goes flat even though in theory he can drink a 2 litre in 2 days.

So I used to reckon on a base line price of £2 for six cans if they were on offer or £1 for a 2 litre bottle. I think though the last coke glitch passed me by and I've only got a few tiny APGS to use up.

    Anyone any suggestions?

I left them there....Misery Guts was with me and would have moaned like fits if I had picked up more than 2 packs, it wasnt worth it. I'm not planning on going back for more so should still be there if you want them :D

Thank you :) I dont get many perks to my job, but one of them is to get someone to check his scans for me. I'll rest happier knowing that they've been double checked. So will my parents! I'm very cynical of falling ill at the weekend, and this coming from someone who works for the NHS!!

Its lovely and toasty warm here already :D

Was also going to suggest second opinion - better to be sure IYSWIM :)

    Pepsi max 2l bottles are £1 in A, 99p in T's :D

    A have 10 cans for £3, T's 8 cans for £1.99 (or 8 coke zero for £2)

From a receipt dated 13th and another for the 14th, another item for the
sada v morrisons list (unless the offer finished today?)

cheapest price is the Morrisons price

    1x
NESTLE AERO CHOC MOUSSE 4PK 236G
    £1.29 £1.28 £1.29 £0.64

    1x
    DAIRYLEA CHEESE SPREAD 200G
    £1.50 £1.36 £1.00 £0.68

    also everyday value sparkling water
24p in tosco, 18p in Morrisons, 17p sada
Thanks for letting me know the basics water price in Morrisons. I was just doing an A shopping list and was wondering what it was. We buy a lot of water as we're not on mains, and our spring is not really suitable for drinking, so will know to avoid T at the moment. T's price rise of 7p to 24p is shocking. (But could be useful if you are doing a T vs A or T vs A shop!)Morisson at 18p is good, but the best-tasting water (in our opinion) is Sainsburys, and that, like A is still 17p at the moment.
I am not young enough to know everything.
