I don't understand the mentality of speeding and trying to overtake dangerously just to 'save' a couple of minutes. Idiots! Hope your day(s) have been good and relaxed!
Yes I saw a nasty accident today.Must be the heat0 -
Tbw- can I just ask when you used your money off a conditional spend plus other coupons- did you give the SA the conditional spend coupon first, then the rest?
I'm planning my Tesco express shop but don't want to muck it up/want to make sure I make the most of it.
Use the cond spends first. Apart from my Zero shop I also got another one down from £33.xx to about £2 ! I used a £4 wys £30 till spit, then a £3 wys £20 till spit, then a £3 wys £20 CC coupon from the last mailing followed by 8 JF coupons, 4 Emmi coupons, a couple of Price Promise coupons and some money off specific products from the last mailing. Its best to make sure that the balance is always more than that needed for whatever conditional spend you are using.ELITE 5:2

:rotfl::rotfl:Alright then, I'll tell you I had...
Nine items??
Nine? The Princes Pomegranate appeared on the comparison after all...
...but then glitched at full prices with the Orange Juice comparing to 75p at Morries!!:j:j:j:j:j
Shame the Pomegranate isn't stocked in Morries and doesn't compare to the same! The mix and match on the limes and lemon (M is 4 for £1) didn't work... but after those soups and the £4.76 (as well as the earlier £2.04 womble) am I bothered that much??
DM - this is belatedly overdue I know, but should have posted much earlier to tell you this is how to do it... not one lime vs a higher price, but 4 against a multibuy elsewhere...except this one, due to the APG's foibles, has to be vs T.

Savvybuyer wrote: »Phew!!:o:):) Just got back, and now catching up. I can confirm the Branston Beans multipacks are comparing from Sains. to A's £1.00 today. Not too much use sorry, as I am very late in the day again:(. The Cif Ocean Floor Cleaner (1L) is comparing correctly as well. (I can tell you both since the BM coupon I got back was the amount I was expecting:).)
And..walked in and realised - I can now enter my A receipt! (To see if it has 8 items first:(:rotfl::o:(, question mark.)
Did you buy some Bacon?0 -
Think of it this way...at least some of that loose non-banana fruit* was needed in order to get the APG:rotfl::rotfl:. (But - would have been far easier to have just bought a flump.)
(I now notice, looking back not very far, the bacon now glitching vs M - so missed it on this shop:( - but are the multis off on msm.co.uk at the moment? Perhaps explaining the Princes full prices too???)

Irn Bru
8 for £1.87 at Morrisons
Is that the Irn Bru mentioned in these ads? Were they ever shown south of the border. (I'm thinking not).:rotfl:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
TrulyMadly wrote: »Simmer the red currants with sugar, brown if you have it, orange zest and some port for about 20 mins. I tend not to do measurements but I would say about 10oz sugar to 1 lb of fruit. Take out zest when cool and put in clean jars and keep somewhere cool. Serve with your cheeses, cold meats or lamb. It will be more of a sauce than a jelly or jam but I think you will like it
That sounds yummy! Clas Ohlsen do a good selection of kilner-type flip-top jars and bottles, if you don't have any jars to hand (I tend to wash out and reuse any store-bought jars, whatever the size); they also look good if you want to give away the redcurrant sauce/jelly as gifts. As TM says it's important that the jars are clean, and preferably sterilised - contents will keep a lot longer. You can sterilise glass jars by submerging in boiling water for 10-15 mins, or put in a 200degF/93degC oven for 10 minutes.
For a different and unique flavour, try adding a vanilla pod which has been left overnight in caster sugar.
Or if it's thirsty work, try equal quantities of redcurrants and strawberries, juiced - the tartness of the redcurrants are balanced by the sweetness of the strawberries.
Or for a thirst-quenching drink, try approx 4oz redcurrants and 4oz strawberries and 1/2 an orange; juiced; add 4 fl oz water, stir in a teaspoon of honey, and add ice cubes.
Or try Blackcurrant & Redcurrant Cordial: approx 500g blackcurrants, 300g redcurrants, washed and destalked; put in a saucepan with 500g caster sugar and 500ml water, heat gently, stirring to dissolve the sugar; bring to a very gentle simmer for 5 minutes only (don't boil, or you'll lose the fruit taste and/or turn it into jam); add the juice of two lemons, stir well, and simmer gently for another 5 minutes, turn off the heat, cover and leave to cool; when cool sieve twice through a small-holed sieve, or through muslin; pour into clean, sterilised bottles. Makes approx 750ml (1 1/4 pints). Keeps in the fridge for six weeks. Or freeze, in plastic bottles (leave a bit of space at the top for the liquid to expand), or in ice-cube trays. Dilute with water or lemonade, or ginger ale for a peppery-type drink, or for the grown-ups add to a fizzy wine for a Kir Royale.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
