I always look out for them on my wombles.0 -

Good evening - I've caught up with the thread (last 24 hrs at any rate), but not caught up with my own M list yet:(. Busy day - however I can tell you the equiv. to the SP Batter Mix is 7p in M. A few items have had to be checked in a second store due to missing SELs in my bigger store. I've found the elusive SEL tonight for the Wall's Mini Twisters - and it does say 8 and £1.00 - although the offer label may incorrectly suggest they are packs of 4.
I've established the Hartley's pot jellies (125g) are still on 24p. Yesterday's M had an offer label scattered around the place but with the barcode things saying 42p. Tonight's different M has offer labels and 24p on the bits with the barcodes, so if the APG goes off that - and it depends what they've found most often - it ought to return at 24p. Pork & Egg Roll and Pork & Stuffing Roll found once again (but I'm probably telling you of things that you didn't know I couldn't find in the store last night).
Last night, I did go :j about the Campbell's Cup of Soups. I found them at 50p in the M store yesterday so, together with several different varieties and 10 of each of them, with 20p MOC on each one, they seemed excellent.
I rechecked them tonight, intending to confirm their price in a second store and also to find any extra varieties that might not have been stocked at the first. Unfortunately however this recheck has proved inconclusive. Sadly they are marked as 50p - reduced to clear in the new store (yesterday's store just had the 50p SEL on them).
If anyone is in Morries soon (buying only items that, insofar as they are grocery, have no equivalent available in A:D), could you tell us whether your store has got 'reduced to clear' on the Campbells Cup Soups? Many thanks.
The APG does not include whoopsies available at other stores, as these are store-specific, and, within this, I've included RTC items. On the other hand, if this is 50p in every store, even if it's on 'reduced to clear' it isn't 'store-specific', so ought it to be included in the APG at that price? Might we look at wombles, or go tentatively on this, buying a small number until we see what compares and how?
'case I don't get to update the M list tonight with additional items, I've found six versions in M: Minestrone with Croutons, Chicken & Vegetable with Croutons, Cream of Chicken, Cream of Tomato, Creamy Vegetable, and Leek & Potato.
Finally - lol:rotfl::rotfl:- with fruit prices sky high at the moment everywhere (and I'm considering using the Saturday market), I'm desperate for some fruit. I found some packs of Savers Pears in M tonight - up to £1.14:eek: - but they weighed in at 800g, so £1.14 very me pushing the limit of the highest price I would go. Took one pack off the shelf, whilst I walked round and checked the other things (oh by the way I can't confirm, unfortunately, equivalent to SP Fruit & Nut Mix this week as seems to have vanished from both stores - I bet it's still on though) - went to go to the till and, checked my pocket, ... I'd only bought enough for the one loaf of bread I was originally going to get (found them totally out of stock of the Wholemeal, and can wait on that), took no cashcard with me, quite deliberately, as I certainly wasn't going to let it become a temptation to spending even more. So, couldn't get the Pears pack at all! Ah well - at least that's stopped my impulse buying of the pears, that really were too expensive anyway, and they'll probably reduce in price next week (we can live in hope...:().
So - money saved so far tonight: £1.14:):):D.
I am now going away - but I will still see any responses to this post later - just going to try to cross off the M post (page 4) what's now no longer on, so that hopefully it can function as a 'carry-over' list quite soon. I'll update you later:).0 -

.
Remember when the 5 beanz voucher was about? Mr A put them on RTC of 40p. People were making profit of 45p due to the MOC overage but they would lose out if they were doing an APG shop because they appeared on APG at 40p
And remember, not all whoopsies are missing from APG. Whoopsie labels that show a barcode don't appear on APG, whoopsie labels that don't have a barcode and that the SA has to override the price does appear on APG at reduced price (usually this kind of whoopsie is due to damaged packaging)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Evening all
I have lots of catching up to do, been skimming the last few dayswill catch up on today's events now in a minute
I tried the Finest Meal Deal this morning. The Garlic Mash doesn't compare but I'm happy to say that the Garnacha does. Gives £1.99 back against Sada.
Be careful when you pick up your wine though. The Garnacha wasn't in the fridge with the deal. Had to get it from the Spanish Red section. However, in the fridge is a Grenache. Had to double check on my phone to make sure that I was getting the correct thing.
Can I please pick people's brains re the finest meal deal - is it only the Garnacha that gives anything against Sada? Got a few  £2 mocs to use up. I looked at the mains earlier on mys and can't see anything comparing. Don't suppose 4 bottles of the Garnacha would trigger the meal deal by any chance
Right off to catchup0 -

Will keep in mind;)
When CS asks why I'm returning whatever it is I even say "I didn't buy enough items to get an APG voucher so I bought them again" :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
