Forgot to mention and say thank you to the OP who pointed out the brunette ones scan at 74p. Found two earlier and they worked! The SS person didn't even bat an eyelid and I ended up with a free dinner with the overage :D

:hello: Right, Mr Savvy here, running v. late tonight - started off, at the outset, late going to M and thought I'd never complete the price collection, especially with the details of all those Uncle Ben's cook-in sauces and Special K cereal bars to obtain. Ended up taking me an hour less than last week though, so did manage it. (I left wondering whether I'd got everything I needed to ensure no-one on here would catch me out, like last time with some Dove Men + Cares. I think I'm now prepared for every eventuality... Probably not:D.)

I've concluded however that the M price collection needs to be done in at least 2 different stores, if not 3 stores or even 6:eek:. Quite a few (although when I say that it's tiny compared to the overall collection) SELs missing in my bigger M tonight, including no Savers Batter Mix:(. So that's needing another store to be checked, now unable to do until tomorrow. They were 7p on Monday (in the other store) although who is to say what they are now.

The lack of SEL/incorrect SEL also gave a mild frustration, which, this time, arose among the frozen items. The Bird's Eye that I promised to look at earlier weren't the problem, instead it was the lollies and ice cream. That M doesn't stock the M Ice Cream Roll, so that's technically needing another M to look at and it can't now be done on the Wednesday, but it's probably fairly safe to take it as £1. It was the Wall's Mini Twisters that slightly frustrated me. They were there, the 8 pack of them, on the shelf, but without a £1 SEL specifically pertaining to the 8 pack. Instead, there was now a red-bordered offer label, but it read "Haribo Dino Candy/Walls Mini Twisters 4 pack £1".

I did later find, in one of the freezers, some labelling that said "Walls Mini Twisters 400ml £1":T. And, as they are 8x50ml, that's spot on, however the APG might well go by the offer label, that suggests they are a 4 pack (even perhaps if they picked it up as the 8 pack last week?), as the weight is in a different format. I think that's what may have happened with my Spotted !!!!!! Puddings last time, as they are 2x130g. However, the SEL in M says "(2) and 260g". It's clearly correctly the same product and within - indeed matching - the number and weight, but I think this provides an explanation as to why it might have been missed. It's not that they haven't scanned it: they probably have, but the weight has then been picked up as 260g and not linked to a 2x130g product - especially if it says 2 per pack, they're recording it and if it then gets into the system as being 2x260g when it isn't.

Quite a lot of changed prices in M this week to catch you out. Items doubling in price and everything. May have been £1.30 last week, but now, this, £2.60 (this is the Dolmio 750g bolognese sauces - so they are now off). Changes in the chilled area (but only just there) - the Innocent 900ml juices still on, but the Frijj milkshakes now off. Or at least not as good as they were (now 'any 2 for £2' - or £1.49 each!).

Got you some Hellmann's real Mayonnaise (430ml squeezy) at £1, so if you have an MOC of at least 70p off then it might make it cheapest - M Savers Mayonnaise 500ml is 41p. And I know you also like these branded tomato ketchups and brown sauces. Daddies Squeezy Brown Sauce or Tomato Sauce 400g - each 69p in M. Branston Brown or Tomato Sauce 555g/560g - 79p until 4/8. Also Branston Beans 4pk multipack - £1.25.

The Dr Oetker Ristorantes (but only those that M stock:D) are still on, Golden Wonder crisps are off.

Weight Watchers' frozen ready meals that you saw at £1 last week, have now risen in price in M.

    The cheeses are now:
    Pilgrim's Choices - as before.
Seriously Strong Extra Mature (either White or Red) 350g £2.29.
Cathedral City: 350g Mild or 350g Extra Mature £3.

Also Morrisons Cornflour (250g) has gone down in price to 49p, which I think is a T price match item. Nearby in my list (not yet on here though) I can see that the Kitchen Foils have now - apparently, again this M may have price SELs missing i.e. the multibuy offer label - gone on multibuy and are £2.99 straight. The Cling Film 350mm x 25m is on 2 for £2 in M (but shouldn't compare from APG unless it glitches).

Coffees? Douge Egberts Roast & Ground 200g - £2 in M - sadly only the Morning Americano appears to be on msm. Those Nestle 2 in 1/3 in 1 sachets are now down to £1.50, but I'm pretty sure they were £1.08 (or something like that) before when they worked extremely well for me on a womble. So they're not going onto my list. (Besides there is at least one other brand now available on offer, for similar sachet packs, cheaper than that.) A near-miss off my list though are going to be Holland Potato & Meat Pies - £2.25 now in M (seen them at £2.00 before).

There are just loads more to appear on the list - Aquafresh Clean Deep Toothbrush 85p (says "Flex Zone").

I can't be writing that list tonight so it'll better wait!:rotfl:

Also :j:j:j:j - there is a very good item (in my view) to be announced later this week. I thought I was doing my collection this time solely for all you lot, as I wasn't planning doing any Avs Morries comparison of my own this week. However, I shall now be buying loads of this product and having more money off. In case this thread is being read by A however, I am not revealing this just yet, as I don't want A to put its prices down and spoil it all for me. (They may well lower their price anyway, as they do watch very closely, as do all the supermarkets, what their competitors are charging and may well bring prices down to match. Or - in Sains. case it seems sometimes - bring their price down just enough to lower the likelihood of most people getting a BM from buying it as other items bought will offset that now lower difference in price - whilst still charging just enough higher than the competitor to not actually pricematch them on the shelf price.)

Only downside is I will now be having to buy 7 other items in order to make the saving on that one, but I'm sure I would have done that anyway - and there's plenty enough on the new Morries prices (that will be revealed fairly soon) to attract my attention.

Finally, the Cravendale 2L is now back on "any 2 for £3". Yes, "back on". Someone I noticed posted earlier saying 'do not buy Cravendale vs Ms'. Well - I have been buying Cravendale vs everyone except M at the moment, or would have been doing if the multis in A had have been glitching (but they weren't so wasn't buying it at all - we've enough to last till the end of the month). The Cravendale 2L may have been '2 for £3' before, relatively recently, in M but I've no idea why anyone got it into their mind that it was still against M last week. It was not: it has been £1.98 straight in M for several weeks.

(Of course I do know why: sometimes, like me, a hazy thought gets into the mind that, absent mindedly, you then go and shop and think it was against one store when it was another, and thus got it all wrong.)

It's now, though, back on 'any 2 for £3', this time, we are told, until 13/10, so keep watching those multis for A.

There is, of course, a lot more - but, as ever, for anything more you'll have to wait like everyone else does to find out what I've got. Heinz and Hipp baby foods are off by the way.

So - hang fire a short while on doing any vs M comps, unless you already know M's price on everything you're buying.

I did find the large Drumstick Lolly in M this time, hiding behind a shelf end. 25p on the M shelf - and also the Refresher Bar at 10p is the Original Lemon and not the Strawberry - so I might at some time take my own advice.;)

Alright, folks, I've got to go now, as it's late again - details of what's carrying over and then the further items to appear in the next few days - I can't promise tomorrow night (as it's a busy day in RL for me tomorrow - come to think of it pretty busy weekend too but I'll be back here again as soon as I can).

    Good night!:):)

My new blinds were supposed to be fitted this afternoon but guy rang to say he had the vertical ones for lounge but the roman blind for the bedroom had been delayed, so guy is now coming on Friday morning to fit them

The pain in my knees has been severely disturbing my sleep and I have had to rest today, so I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow. Got to empty all my wardrobes, dressing table and get filing cabinet, tv, etc out into the sitting room

So my little car crash with no injuries wasn't quite so little and not quite nin injury!!! After 2 hours at work my supervisor drove me too the local hospital for check up as the monster headache wouldn't quit and my right arm elbow and shoulder where killing me. After only a 40 minute wait hey have diagnosed a concussion, whiplash and wrenched elbow and shoulder!!:(

They have given me some lovely painkillers for tonight and sent me home with instructions to see GP tomorrow to get it logged for insurance purposes and told me to return to a&e if it doesn't get better in 48 hrs.

I feel really sorry for the young girl who hit me as although it was her fault for a moments in attention she is probably going to feel it on her insurance for years. The garage my car has gone to are already saying it is a potential write of as they think there is damage to the suspension and chassis and the frame around the door as well as a needing a new wing and at least 1 new door and panel work to the other door. And this was a relatively low speed impact!!:eek:
