Got to ASDA today -- there isn't one near me so it's a rare occurrence and I am so jealous of those who live near one.

Stood in foyer scrolling this forum on the phone (I'm a semi-lurker because I do post when I can) and found the heads up for the my SuperList app and it's the best thing ever! No longer do I mess up my shop by including fillers which compare badly. This was today's shop -- the potatoes were in the veg aisle.

11 items (7 different) on your bill qualify for comparison Tesco +£4.43

0.11 x ASDA Carrots by Weight
    £0.09 £0.08
0.07 x ASDA Mushrooms by Weight
    £0.17 £0.18
    0.14 x ASDA Courgettes by Weight £0.23 £0.22
    2 x ASDA Baby New Potatoes with Herbs & Butter (360g) £2.00 £0.78
    1 x ASDA Fairtrade Bananas (6) £1.20 N/A
    1 x ASDA Braeburn Apples (750g) £1.75 N/A
    1 x ASDA Plums (500g) £1.00 N/A
    1 x ASDA Strawberries (400g) £2.00 £2.00
    4 x Soft & Gentle Body Responsive Antiperspirant Deodo... £4.00 £0.80
    1 x Flora Lighter Than Light Spread (500g) £1.70 £1.70

Comparison total (compared products only) £10.19 £5.76

I got an APG for £5.01

Couldn't work out how to get the free Flora, but I needed it anyway. Got the free strawberries -- as long as the money does end up in PayPal!

So I just want to thank the OP for telling me about the app. I am now trying to create different lists for different types of shop so that I don't forget stuff when I am in store. I have missed out on so many glitches so was very pleased with the strawberries. I know it isn't as good as all of you, but I am pleased!
