I know flowers inside out and it's purple with green leaves - hth

Thank you nanny! That would make sense. I looked it up and it's a member if the geranium family. The look of the leaves fit in with that.

Im totally puzzled by it as these are not something I have grown before as far as I can remember and the poor thing is way too big for the pot I found it in.
A nice surprise though. There are lots of buds on it. It just needs some TLC and more fitting home.
