i agree about the rhubarb crumble my recipe is a bit of a cheat as i used silverspoon powdered pectin i do both ways but find without you have to boil for a lot longer and get far less jam as it boils away i find using the pectin everything stays fresher and some of the fruit stays in pieces, also weights are always rough with me as never do anything exact but with all my jams try to do equal amounts sugar to fruit :p

    500g rhubarb
    500g strawberries
    1kg sugar
    1 sachet pectin
    knob butter

dice rhubarb cook in a little water until just tender then add halved strawberries allow to cool slightly before adding the sugar and pectin stirring well. heat gently until sugar dissolved stirring then add butter turn up heat get to rolling boil for 4 mins take of heat and check set if ready pour into sterilised jars in seal if not boil for another 1 min then recheck

i have used the same recipe but no pectin and used some lemon juice then cook for longer using jam themometer to get to right temp but check the set before jarring

Thank you very much ... may have ago tomorrow when its meant to be a wee bit cooler then the rest of the week. :T

I edited it quite a few times til I was happy :o

I'm not sure how it works. If anyone has any ideas/past experiences then I'm all ears

I run the app on DDs ipod, just gonna run through the motions and see if it functions the same way as my other cashback deals I've done with them :)

    I'm confused by:
To redeem your cashback simply click on the little piggy when your shopping is completed

Every time I click the piggy (that sounds like a euphemism for something), nothing happens except a pop up window appears summarising "All the ways you can save", namely:

    cashback earned,
savings from spliting to two stores
savings from switching to another store entirely

So how do I get to the point of uploading a receipt? Is it just a case of emailing as per OP on FB?

If it works the same way as the usual cashback (DDs ipod is dead so I'm just charging it now to check) I'll pop a post on here for the steps you need to take.
    Gimme 10 mins :)

Edit: oops I forgot to ask, are you using the app or trying to do it on the webpage?

I don't know how it works for the cashback with actually going into a store, but it does look like the strawberries are available at Sada, Sainsbob and Tosco. Sada and Sainsbob have a 2 for £3 deal on them too.

E.T.A. There's also free Flora buttery through MSM although I can't see any mention of that being available for those going into a store.

E.T.A.A. It's Flora original 500g which is £1.70 in Sada but 2 for £2 in Tosco so would that mean 1kg for £1.80 on an APG and then with the £1.70 cashback a total cost of 10p?

    I've got it now!!!! :j:j

This is how you do it instore using the Mysuperlist app

1 add strawberries to your list
    2 view list
3 swipe your finger left to right to score through the item as you would check something off a shopping list
4 piggy now changes colour and says "Cashback earned, click to redeem"
    5 click the piggy :rotfl:
    6 take picture
    7 click send
    8 eat strawberries
    9 thank me (and OP)

Phew. I hope you all enjoy your free strawberries. :D

You beat me to it, the ipod's just come on :D
Thanx for the heads up, I'm getting free strawberries today then :j

Incase anyone wondered AFAIK you can only get the instore cashback with the app and I think it's only on ipod/phone/tab.

Oh and the swipe thing no longer works for me, I seem to have little checkboxes instead (I think I've changed layout) but it still functions the same.

I've got it running on an ipod touch :) (I don't own a smart phone)
I think the app's only available in the apple store (or whatever it's called)
