have also lots of rhubarb just prepared enough for several pies and to make a huge pot of rhubarb and strawberry jam then discovered i have no sugar
Ive put my vine straight into the ground this year and it's doing really well. I bought it last year for 75p and it was quite literally a stick! It grew well when I repotted it last year, but no flowers. So these are my first grapes :j:j
Salad isn't good at all this year, not helped by the dog digging it up:mad: too many cucumbersand my most and best ever onions

2 of my mentalist chillies.
Enough cukes to feed the 5000. I counted them this morning. Between the 3 plants there are 44 cues:j
My tomato jungle. I'm waiting for more space on the other side of te greenhouse so I can separate them out a bitI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Does anyone listen to this absolute radio? I wonder if each dj has an allocation to give away. Maybe they say on air when the site will next be open for registrations
Or maybe not. it's just a thought
when I heard them talking about it on the radio, they were just saying that you could apply for one today, no mention of different times and stuff.
FC, of course we all know that you cant enter that one!Nice grapes though! I have loads and loads of plums this year, I may even post a pic of my plums later

We did a couple of years ago but we went on holiday and came back and they died off because it rained so much
They are fairly easy to grow anywhere I thinkI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Ive never grown them outside. I Do have some courgettes outside though and they don't seem to grow as big or as fast as they do in the greenhouse. If you have a sunny porch or conservatory you could grow some in that? Or wait until the end of the summer and pick up one of the small plastic greenhouses cheap ready for next year. They're always reduced to at least half price late on. Keep an eye out in pound stretcher/home bargains/B&M etc. I picked up one of the tall ones with shelves in last year for under £10. I just left the shelves out and can fit 2 plants in it0
