I lost loads on SW the first time I did it, something just clicked and I couldn't believe how simple it was.......until I tried it again and again and again and never clicked back in.

Watching Siouxsie (I idolised her!) and the Slits just now made me feel really sorry for today's teens. Maybe I'm getting old, but they just don't seem to make 'em like that any more.

Thanks for the linky btw! I've requested a number!

You got your number Minnie and yes I agree about todays teens, there doesn't appear to be any energy or innovation.

Well you can buy your image today, it wasn't like that that when I were a kid, we had to make our own holes in our tights.:rotfl:

I've never got on with diets. I get bored after a day or so.

The only thing that ever works for me is exercise. I've not had much time to go the gym lately (boo!) but try to walk for an hour a day which helps. Can't always manage a full hour in one go, but dividing it into two half-hours is just as good. And I've got a set of hand-weights which I've dug out from under the bed today put near the phone. Multi-tasking anyone? :rotfl:

I was like this but recently it did just click again! I went a few years ago, lost quite a bit but then stuck losing and gaining the same few lbs for over a year, then got pregnant again!

Minnie - it's the best way though! I went on the videojug website and they have great little vids on how to tone arms etc.

We sound like a right pair of old codgers moaning about the youf of today, don't we? Is it me, or are they all into rubbish R&B these days?

I remember the days of the torn-up T-shirt and can of car-spray paint in the garden when I made my own "fashion"...:T

I absolutely love weights - they tone you up in double-quick time. And I've even got one of those little step-counters. You're supposed to do 10,000 a day and it's not that hard to do. I used to manage about 3,000 in a 20-minute walk to work.

Stick with it Sea, but don't be disillusioned if you don't hit the magic 10,000 straight away. Actually, it's good to just have a few "normal" days to see what you're doing and then see where you can build more steps in without breaking into a sweat!

All I can say is I nearly did a primal scream when she played this !!!!!! song that she 'loved' which sounded like a chipmunk singing some R and B sh!te.

And to think I've brought her up listening to the Clash, Subhumans and Crass.
