What good is a CCA to you anyway? It is not your debt, you have nothing to prove - it is all for the DCA to prove. Let them think of the CCA for themselves. rather than being macho and demanding it.You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -

Hi,
Sorry to hijack a thread, but I'm in a similar situation. I used the prove it letter and got this reply with this bank statement. I've also had lowell phone me a lot and once they stated that they don't need to provide any evidence that the debt is mine, but I must still repay it.0 -

Basically if you deny the debt is yours, send them the prove it letter, its then up to them to provide you with proof that you owe that debt, a CCA request on the other hand is a different beast altogether, that is used to supply you with a copy of the original agreement on an account you own, and admit to owning, ie, a debt that IS yours, not one you don't own !! you have got your template letters mixed up, that is all the previous posters are trying to tell you, by sending this you have given the dog a bone to chew on so to speak.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi,
Well if this statement has your name and address on it then that constitutes proof of the debt !!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
