Half Price Showers At Homebase.

Apologies if this is old news or in the wrong place!

Have been trawling around for 3 days for a new shower and visited Homebase today just on the off chance and they have quite a few showers reduced to half price!
They are working out cheaper than E-bay!!! :eek:

Are Argos and homebase the same company? the HB web site looks just like the Argos one, just different colours.

Yes they are
I think Argos acquired Homebase about 5 years ago and just as a matter of interest the parent company is GUS

When Homebase do this offer, their prices are very good, but take the "half price" with a pinch of salt: the Opal II, for example, is for sale at Wickes (rebranded and a slightly different design, but the same shower) for £150. You're still saving £50, but don't be under any illusion that the savings are as big as Homebase make out.

It would surprise me greatly if this "half price" offer isn't available most of the year - those prices are the same as I paid back in February.
