Ok I used to buy a packet of roasted parsnip seasoning from Sainsbury's but have been told they no longer stock it. So would like to make my own mix so that I have a supply.
I'm guessing the mix was salt, black pepper, onion powder/granules and dried thyme. Possibly more ingredients. But don't know the amounts.
So I was wondering what others put on their parsnips when roasting.

I roast mine with olive oil & honey, fresh or dried thyme too sometimes. Did at christmas buy the mix from m&s though, nice but pricey.0

If I had some parsnips I would cook one of the following recipes:

depends - I might do plain olive oil with salt and pepper, or oil and honey, or I might add some thyme or rosemary. I love roast parsnips - and also parsnip chips! to me the flavour is better than potato.0

I roast mine in orange juice. Par boil them first, drain them, then add orange juice and put in the oven. The only way I could get my son to eat them. :rotfl:0
