    Define "OK" . It is impossible to say that ANY foodstuff is 100% safe.

    Again it is impossible to say for sure ( which is why any scientific study has to say there is some risk , regardless of how small that risk is ) . The only thing you can say for sure is that extra checks have been put in place. You have to take it on trust that the checks are being followed all the way through the chain.

    My offers (North East) are confirmed the same as OP.
    I'll be going this weekend and seems like I haven't used Lidl as much this year. Not for meat offers anyway.
    Hope the 2nd half of the year is better than the 1st half. Not a bad start though.
