overpayment calculation?

hi all, how do i work out how much i have saved by making varied, regular overpayments to my mortgage.
i borrowed 91k over 30 years in july 2004.
i now owe 71k
i have been making regular overpayments of anything from £50-£200 nearly every month for a few years now.
rate has been 4-5%
my statement states i still have 20 years left to pay (not including overpayments made), but if i have been making overpayments will this now be shorter?
thanks

The contractual term remains the same unless you request it to be changed. This is why you'll see 20 years still on your statement.0

but without overpayments i would have 20 years left still, and my mortgage payments stay the same.....so what gives?0 -

ah, by this do you mean i can actually ring them and ask for the 'new' term length to be shown?
if so, why wouldn't it just do it automatically?0
