Buy or wait?

I'm faced with a decision of settling for a house that I'm not really happy with (or in a location I'm not really happy with). Or, wait, continue to save, hope my salary goes up (unlikely) and buy later (and hope that house prices don't go up in the meantime). I also read in the MSE newsletter today that this is a rare opportunity for a low interest fixed rate mortgage, which should perhaps influence my decision.
What are your thoughts? Cheers! Matt

this depends on you !!!
You could be 19/21 and only working for 6/9 months or 38 with 3 kids and living in a rented one bed flat!!!
What is your perfect house ?
How much have you saved ? Deposit, Income, Job security, Plans, career ????? The questions go on and on
Will house prices go up, Will interest rates go up ??
Have you got a 10/15/25% deposit0
