Hi, I went to get a mortgage 4-6 weeks ago I got accepted in principle, then they found 6 defaults on my credit report which I have got 5 removed as they were fraud I have one left that they wont take off my credit report and it isnt even my name!?!

Im totally raging Ive tried everything I can think of to get the last one off which is Virgin Media any ideas?

6 defaults and all of them are fraud? are they all different companies?

I would think with 1 from 5 years ago you should be ok with certain lenders

Might be worth popping over to the Credit ratings board to see whether they have any suggestions about removing the final default, even if you carry on with the mortgage process.

Depending on the rest of your case with your deposit as a percentage of purchase price crucial, I would expect there to be a solution.

Get your credit files to a broker and see what can be arranged.

    Best of luck

If you defaults are older than 36 months Aldermore bank should be able to help, we have 2 showing but oldest is 40months ago and we have our mortgage.
I couldn't fault Aldermore for there service and the way they underwrite there mortgages deff worth a try
