I received an email the other week to say I'd won box of gourmet marshmallows from This Comp I replied to the PR company running the comp with my address and I asked if the marshmallows were at the company running the competition could I pick them up from them as I live near the area they are based in?
I received an automated reply to say the person who sent the email was out at the moment and would get back to me when possible.
I left it for a week then I noticed from their twitter feed they were active over the last 24 hours. So I replied again with no joy. I left it another couple of days and I've tweeted the PR person and I've just contacted the actual company running the comp via Facebook.
Am I moaning to much? I wouldn't mind but it's our anniversary this weekend and I haven't bought her anything yet, I thought this would be a good present :rotfl:

Erm, yes I'd say you are bothering them a bit, or that's what I'd think if I was the company! Were the tweets automatic/set by time or individual responses? It is irritating when they don't reply but I wouldn't bother a company unless it was past a month, especially for some marshmallows :rotfl:0

Lol what a cheapskate
you'd be wearing them if it was me
Edit: Or is this the idea:A strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.0
