Anyone know the expiry date for the Daily mail book voucher?Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

Does Tesco accept money-off coupons/vouchers from newspapers if you don't buy the stuff they're for? Is there any limit on value as I've got loads of various kinds still in date which were passed on to me by MIL.0

There are whole threads on mse dedicated to coupon/voucher acceptance by stores.
My general advice would be:-
Try Tesco & Asda - and apparently Waitrose can be good.
Item has to be something the store actually sells ( or one of their chain does)
If you want to guarentee that store will accept the coupons you have - go to cs desk and politely ask what their store policy is. Asda officially will not accept ANY book coupons - but:
And a big BUT.
ALL DEPENDS ON THE SA ON CHECKOUT.
If you find one who happily scans whatever you hand over....... nurture him/her like your life depends on it !!
Equally in same store on same day, you can have sa who will accept NO coupons, unless you actually buy the item named, and even then scrutinises every word to look for ANY excuse to say no. Er these are the ones to avoid at all costs.
Never kick up a fuss if your coupons are declined - just try again later.
Self scan tills are good for coupons which you know will scan, if only the sa would bother to try - BUT, most need to be approved by a supervisor before you put into the slot.....sometimes this is a cursory glance, others an indepth hunt for any get-out-clause. So again can be hit and miss depending on who is on duty.
Good luck, always keep a pair of small scissors in the car for snipping out coupons, keep smiling and if YOU spot any coupons, tell us first0 -

Daily Mail voucher in south East bar code is VERY blurry and it will certainly not scan - you can hardly even make out the numbers either.0

I went to get my newspapers, but my corner shop had sold out so I went to WH Smiths and bought 20 Daily Mails, 2 Express, one Mirror and one Sun and a South Wales Echo.
I used the printable £2.00 points voucher at Smiths and got some haribo for the kids half price.
I then went to a bench got my scissors out and snipped out the express vouchers. I then went to Superdrug and got my free carex and vitamins x 2. It was lucky I went when I did as the SA said the store was only given 20 of the bottles and vitamins to give away. The Carex is a little bottle so ideal for holidays.
Then on the way home I stopped at Threshers to pick up the free bottles of beer (only 6 left on the shelf), now I am just about to snip out my mocs.
I don't normally buy so many Mail's but DS is having a joint party soon with his little friend, and I will be buying the food and sharing the costs with the other mum. So if I can get a considerable amount off with these DM's that would be fab and very good moneysaving.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
