Toy World Store 50% off everything

Hope this hasnt already been posted. I went to the Toy World Store today in the Trafford Centre and everything is 50% off the last marked price. I spoke to SA who said they are closing down so everything has to go. Most of the stuff is for 6 years old and over. Although I did spend £17 on my 2 year old. Hope it helps someone

Do you mean Toy "Master"? They have had this sale for a few months now, starting with 25% off. Unfortunately, anything that is worth buying has long left the shelves.

Can anyone confirm this is toymaster, and is it all stores?
Just checked their website which gives very little detail, and the closest store to me is Winchester which would be a bit of a drive.

I'm sure it is ToyWorld as my local store closed a few months ago as the company went into liquidation. I imagine some of the stores are still trading to clear stock. The link is a news story from March about ToyWorld.

The same happened in Leeds! Wait for another few days...they go upto 75% off!!!

My husband used to work for Toyworld thank goodness he got out before they went bust but we still know "people". They have gone bust but are not shutting all their stores many like the factory outlets are staying open, so not all are offering the 50%- 75% off. Leeds one has now closed down, but not sure about others

I can't get that website to work. How do you find out the nearest store to you, Trafford Centre is about 1 hr away

The Toyworld at Freeport/Fleetwood closed down suddenly a couple of months ago. Apparently staff had a phone call at 4.00pm on a Thursday (Freeport is open till 8.00pm on a Thursday) to tell them to lock up and go home; the company had gone into liquidation. A sign on the window said that all the stock had been transferred to the Trafford Centre shop where it would be sold at a discounted price on a first come first served basis.
