If the cash had come to the UK, the unions would have just diverted it into wage increases and inflation.

Rather sweeping statement, just as likely to have been siphoned off by the landed gentry and industrialists.

So what is the end game then? Can things get better for them and they have options? Or is it inevitable and they are just pushing the problems into the future?

The Germans invented most of the machinery themselves. ;)

It appears then that Greece got into the Euro by lying and find it a habit they cannot break.

The list of those who didn't is rather short.

Well, as a surprise to us all, Greece did indeed get a bailout. Apparently Grecce have met all the terms which they hadn't met just a few days back. Magic.

They will meet the terms this time aswell, they have promised! And they will be back to growth by 2014 too, according to the Troika!

It's like some kind of bad soap.
