Not sure I'd CHOOSE to spend Christmas in Cornwall, but I have to for uni :P
It's SO cold in winter! We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
No idea where you go to Uni but Cornwall and Devon have quite mild weather. Certainly not as cold as up North etc.

Server error upon submission :-(No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Falmouth. But, it's really not that warm, especially by the sea, particularly the sideways rain, trust me.:cool:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Sideways rain
doesn't sound fun. But for cold you really should try Christmas in a place called Stalybridge  (although apparently according to the in-laws I am a big soft southern jessie! lol) "The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,

My daughter is studying at Falmouth as well. what chances :question:0 -
Been to falmouth lots of times. I live in Devon right on the border of Cornwall and by the sea. Gives for milder not colder winters living by the sea because of the salt in the air. Believe me cornwall compared to most places isn't very cold. I didn't know Falmouth had a Uni though because its such a small town. Good luck with your courses hun
