What free wedding stuff have you got / blagged?

Hi all

I have just been printing off some some table numbers from a lovely free printables site, for our wedding table plan and it got me to thinking..there must be other free bits and bobs like this

What free stuff have you blagged or got off the net, for your wedding?

Try Vistaprint - not entirely free as you pay postage but I got RSVP cards, brochures about our location, cotton bags, t-shirts, mugs, business cards (that I used as place cards), some additional invites, thankyou cards with personalised envelopes, stickers, and other stuff that I can't remember - all with the same theme and design.

Remember to go through a cashback site too, like Quidco or TopCashBack.

Photographer - 2.5 hrs in turn for using our photos to advertise the company.

BUT and it is a BIG BUT have a back up as we were disappointed with the quality and amount of photos. We had an established company recommend a friend who was just starting her business and whilst she did offer her services for free as well she just asked us to cover her fuel cost which was fair enough.

It cost us £30 and she did the whole day for us and the photos were fantastic, she gave us a disc with them all on and let us choose 50 to have edited for nothing.

We did get other things for free but that wasn't a result of finding them online. In terms of online though I did get a lot off ebay that made it cheaper as I made all our invites, thank you cards and all that kind of stuff.

Also printed off some little cute things about trees and months of the year hmmm see if i can find it. people thought they were a good idea and asked where i got them. Think it was martha stewart website

we just did it stand alone for the tables something for people to look at in the boring bits lol

Also made my own sweetie table sign found a print i liked online of a cute couple (make sure you won't get in trouble for using it!) Then put some words and added a couple of bling rainbow sparkle diamante and put in a silver cheap frame from 99p store that looked effective.

Well the biggest definitely has to be our reception venue, which OH's Uncles has got us for free All we have to do is decorate it.

Besides that so far I've wangled free balloons and ribbon when I bought a helium canister lol
