Mortgage loan not received? Tomorrow is the entry date!!!

Hi All,
Tomorrow will be the entry date (property in Scotland). I was told by my solicitor that he hasn't received the loan funds from lender.
Then I gave the lender a call. What they found out was someone in the bank mistakenly rejected the hand-written documents then the transaction was stopped. They just corrected that and sent the funds to my solicitor.
Anyone would have any idea when the funds will arrive? The solicitor insists that he cannot give me the keys until the loan funds arrive. But I have to move out tomorrow!
I am totally furious now! What can I do???
Regards

should be in his account by tomorrow AM
looking at time.... most banks cut of system at 4pm so the transfer is likely to take place in the morning.0 -
Even in the old days before electronic funds transfer, it was possible for a solicitor to go into the local bank branch to pick up a completion cheque on the day of completion.
In this electronic age the bank will do the Chaps transfer tomorrow and your solicitor will receive the funds in his bank account within a few hours.
Try not to worry, this sort of thing does happen, and will be resolved tomorrow.Early retired - 18th December 2014
