Does anyone know the Freepost Address for…….??

Here’s an idea I’ve had for a while now.
Some banks, building societies, utility companies etc give out Freepost addresses however most don’t seem to give them or even advertise them so I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread on which companies might have Freepost addresses that are not normally advertised. The only one I can think of is Royal Mails Opt Out service Freepost address which is Freepost RRBT-ZBXB-TTTS Royal Mail Door to Door Opt Outs, Kingsmead House, Oxpens Road, OXFORD OX1 1RX and I didn’t know about this until it was pointed out by one of the MSEers in a recent thread about Junk Mail.
So if you know of any then please post here and I’m not talking about those that are common knowledge or already advertised for example Coventry Building Society FREEPOST CV24 etc.
I suppose you could contact the company you deal with and ask them to send you prepaid envelopes if you need to send them anything otherwise please add your ideas, tricks other suggestions maybe even alternative addresses......
Of course there’s always BACS which is a free service used by banks/building societies etc however you can’t send things such as cheques via BACS.
Or maybe you might want to post an address you have that doesn’t normally have a Freepost address with the idea that someone who knows the Freepost address could post it on here to help you out.
Thanks

Oh well I thought it was a good idea at the time. As I've said I'd been thinking of this for a while but was inspired to post this on here by the MSEer who posted the Royal Mail Opt Out Freepost address because when I sent off the form to stop junk mail the address that was on it didn't have the Freepost RRBT-ZBXB-TTTS bit on it. Anyway I thought maybe someone or another might have an alternative Freepost for any company rather than just a regular published address of a company with no Freepost.
Well if you do have or know of any feel free to post them here.
Failing that I guess the next best thing to do is just ask the said company for prepaid envelopes as I’ve already mentioned.0 -
excellent idea i just dont know of any but i will keep the thread in mind when i do know of any!!!!!

Can't you just write Freepost on the envelope anyway? I've done it quite a few times0

Thriftymanc is right though I do remember there was one MSEer on here who pointed out that if you don't put a stamp on an envelope sometimes this works especially if you are sending something to a bank as they might think it's something you owe them so they tend not to turn it away. Apparently this isn't illegal.0

Contacted Royal Mail a while ago about this and only just got a reply.
The Freepost service is a business service and a licence and account has to be applied for before it can be used. Any item of mail bearing the word "Freepost" will be subject to a surcharge if the addressee is not a licence holder.0 -
Great idea, but you should be aware that Freepost addresses don't always go to the same place as the other mail.
When I worked for a telecoms company, we used a Freepost address solely for the return of faulty remote controls. However, even though Customer Services was only in the next building, anything else received at that address would be binned.Gone ... or have I?0 -
I was thinking more of the letters/numbers you might be able to add to an address that doesn’t initially have Freepost as in Royal Mail's Opt Out address. As I have pointed out, when I sent off the Opt Out form it didn't have the Freepost bit on it, yet later same address but with Freepost on it so this should go to the same department surely.
But of course from what you are saying this may not always be the case. Obviously this will have to be bared in mind.0
