edit these have now sold outDon’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
it keeps telling me...
We have not applied your voucher, as your basket total is less than £30:money: <<<< MY HERO!0 -
It says you need minimum £30 order!0

This is so frustrating when people take the mick, if everybody starts putting loads of orders through, they soon catch on and cancel everybodys. And they do not need permission to take more from your card, it may say so in the T&C's of the code, which weren't posted.
This happens time and time again, why cant people be happy with ordering once, and not be so greedy?
This was not me taking the mick. As a working single parent on a low income (and no benefits) it's nice to be able to get a few bits to put away for my daughter's xmas. If ELC give out these codes then they must expect them to be used. :mad:Joined SW 24/02/2011 :j71lb/28.5lb-6, -2.5, -2, -1, -2 -, -2 sow, +3(holiday), -5.5 (*) +0.5, +1, -4, -0.5(*), -3(10%!!) +0.5, -3, -1, -1(2st:j)

Most (if not all) of us on here have no money.
However, if we do things like ths, next time there will be no codes and we can't puit anything away for christmas. We should just use one each and might have some codes next time.
It has now gone up to a £30 minimum spend as you can see above. If people had stuck to one each and would have lasted longer for everybody else...
hmm... intriguing.0 -
i think they would get onto it anyway,it could of been 4 people using it at one time so the same person using it is just taking advantage of saving money, and if it gets her kids a few extra bits for christmas then good on her,i agree its frustrating if you miss out but you have to be fast for these things.
oh i only used it once incedently i didnt think you would be able to use it twiceappreciate what you have got x0 -

I'd rather see 4 families benefit a little each, than one person getting loads.
If we all stick to sensible orders more people can benefit from these finds, we are meant to be here to help each other...not just ourselves.
Previously people were places 20, 30 & 40 seperate orders, I can't agree it's ok to take as much as you can get.Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.

no i dont agree with excessive amounts of orders but as she said she used it a few times so i assume 2 or 3 any over that is a bit much.
i agree we are all here to help each other and im sure the poster has offered her tips on how to save money and posted herself on things and if she hasnt then im sure or hope to think she would post something she finds to be helpfull to others.
agree to disagree on this oneappreciate what you have got x0 -

On the John Lewis thread one person reported that the mail man had told her that he had delivered over 60 parcels to some one earlier in the day. That is just greed :mad:0 -
I just tried and got this message "We have not applied your voucher, as your basket total is less than £30"
So I increased the number of items to make my basket over £30, and tried again, and it then said "Voucher offer: WELCOME2M4 - £5 off and free delivery on orders over £30"
They must have changed it because people were taking the pi$$We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
