I have recently started reacting to my watch strap. Went and bought a mainly plastic one but still had a reaction as it still has a metal buckle. Can't afford a gold or silver one but was wondering if anyone with this problem had tried a titanium one as they seem more affordable.
Thanks

Do you know what you are reacting to? Stainless steel is usually reaction free, or you could go for something completely without metal such as:

If I have this, I coat the metal in a coat of clear nail varnish and it stops. Don't know if it will work for everyone, but worth a try and is definitely cheaper than replacing the watch.0

Clear nail varnish works for me too (rings and earrings). Also easy to renew/reapply as and when required...
Having said that, my skin is fine with both stainless steel and titanium (gold as well, but not silver)Cogito, ergo sum.0 -
Thanks for the help. Will try the nail polish first and then work my way through the rest. I was fine until I got an expensive watch for a present and now everything seems to annoy me.0
