Goodreads question

Hey, I have seen lots of people winning things from goodreads, is this goodreads.com? I just went to enter a giveaway and it asks for a company name. am i in the wrong place?

above the companies there should be your address and then you click on select this address to enter hope that helps

no, good reads don't get posted there's literally 100's each day and the winner is picked from yes randomness sometimes but also whether they have written reviews and site activity

They're listed in the daily thread (or weekly. I can't remember). There are so many Goodreads comps so they're not individually listed.

One of the criteria Goodreads use to select winners is site activity, so you need to do stuff on the site not just enter the comps

Is that actual reviews? Or can it be following authors and creating "to read" lists.

I'm a massive book person, so this website is great for me - with or without wins!

Same here - great website but great giveaways too. I won quite a lot on there having only posted one or two reviews, so think you'd be fine without

I've won a few times and I rarely write out a review so maybe it just means rating books by the star system. Good luck OP x
