My usual waterproof mascara I can't get anymore. Seems it's out of stock everywhere I look online.
So, I am on the hunt for a replacement. It needs to be more water based & not a huge volumising brush.
If anyone can recommend, it would be much appreciated.

I don't know what your definition of a huge brush is but I swear by bourjois clubbing range. It isn't specifically a waterproof mascara but is described as pretty much everything proof. It is described as a maxi brush but I find I need a couple of coats to get big lashes and one coat is fine for day.

Looked a few photos of it & can't really make out what size the brush is.
Because I have very sparse lashes, I can't really use mascaras which have wide brushes ( if that makes sense ).0

I don't know if it's water-based, but I find the Clinique mascaras the only truly water/smudge-proof mascara I've tried - all others leave dark rings under my eyes by the end of the day/night. I think they are supposed to coat the lashes like tubes and then you 'slip' the tubes off with a little warm water at the end of the day, but I really do find it tough stuff! And quite good at making my lashes look more impressive than they actually are too 0 0

Blinx (I think)? They coat lashes and dry to a sort of tube around the lashes that you roll off.

I have tried the Blinc one & to be honest I thought it was rubbish.
Bought a Nivea one from Poundland & it seems fine. Have worn it whilst at the gym & it stayed in place.0

Ah, I've never tried it - it sounded interesting!

I hate the feel of waterproof mascara. But I happily wear Boots Botanics Waterguard mascara. Not mega waterproof but stays put in most damp situations! Very soft texture and comes off with regular make up remover.0

Whats the name of the mascara you used to use?0

I second the clinique recommendation. Small brush, and goes on well without clumping, and doesnt make my stubby eyelashes look weird.
Pop down to one of their concessions and they will give you the best advice, or into debenhams etc.0

Boots 17 Doll'd up is good, brush is quite slim but I get good results from it - if it isn't on offer, I second the comments about Natural Collection Waterguard, excellent for the (low) price. Have always found Miss Sporty mascara good value too, but haven't used for a while (love the Doll'd Up too much).0
