OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

HOW TO ENTER: No purchase is necessary to enter or win the competition. To enter, you must correctly answer the relevant question on the official ‘The Beatles’ Facebook page. All entries must include entrant’s name, date of birth, country and email address. The competition will begin on 17 June 2013 and the deadline for receipt of entry is 1 July 2013 at 6pm (BST).

The first and last name provided by entrants will be the identity of the entrant and, if selected for the prize, the identity of the winner. The use of a bogus name or email address will disqualify an entrant. Entrant’s e-mail address must not be withheld. There is a limit of one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be void. By entering the competition, entrant consents to UMO’s collection of the personal information provided in accordance with Universal Music Group’s privacy policy (found at http://privacypolicy.umusic.com/) which may be shared with Tospin Media. Entrant further consents to receive additional Universal Music and Apple Corps promotional information. All entrants agree to abide by these rules. All entries become the property of Universal Music Operations Ltd (“UMO”). Entries may be rejected in the sole discretion of UMO, including for reasons of obscenity, defamation or invasion of privacy.

ELIGIBILITY: This competition is open to any legal resident of the UK (excluding residents of Ireland). All entrants and the person accompanying the winner must be at least 16 years of age to be valid and to be able to prove their age. Employees (and their immediate families or household members) of UMO and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents are not eligible to enter this competition. UMO and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents are not responsible for any lost, late illegible, incomplete, postage due, misdirected or mutilated mail, any electronic miscommunications or failures, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable connections, or failed incomplete, garbled or delayed computer or mobile phone transmissions which may limit entrant’s ability to participate in the competition.

SELECTION: Within five (5) days of the competition closing, one (1) winner and ten (10) runners up will be selected at random from all eligible and correct entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible and correct entries received. All decisions of UMO are final and binding on the entrants in all respects. The winners will be notified by telephone and/or email by a representative of UMO within five (5) days of the closing date. Failure to respond immediately will be considered winner’s forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of eligible entries.

PRIZE: One winner will win a Beatles ‘Help!’ lithograph (valued at approximately £49.99)
Ten runners up will each win a Beatles ‘Help!’ blu-ray (valued at approximately £14)
There is no cash or other alternative to the prizes stated and the entries and prizes are not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions. The winners assume all responsibility for taxes.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RELEASES: An entrant or winner may be disqualified from the competition if he or she fails to comply with these official rules, as determined in the sole discretion of UMO. Unless prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names and likenesses in all media for publicity purposes without any further compensation. By entering or accepting a prize in the competition, entrants/winners agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and to conform to all laws and regulations.

By entering, participants and winners agree to release and hold harmless UMO, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives from any damage, injury, death, loss, claim, action, demand or other liability that may arise from their acceptance and/or use of prize or their participation in this promotion, or from any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded. UMO is not responsible for 1) failed, returned or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner on entry 2) entries, and responses to winner notifications which are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient in whole or in part or for computer, mobile phone or technical error of any kind. UMO reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this competition should a virus, ‘bug’ or other cause beyond UMO control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the competition. UMO reserves the right to modify the rules of the competition in any way or at any time. These Official Contest Rules and this competition shall be governed by English law and by entering the competition all entrants agree that all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Courts of Justice.
