Wedding Venues Edinburgh/Fife Area

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of venues around Edinburgh and Fife. I've had a small look but a lot have almost no information or lots on packages and such so it can be a bit confusing so it'd be nice to hear from someone who has any good recommendations and has been through/going through the process of finding venues.
I do have a very large family so our numbers will most likely be about 100 which isn't great when trying to spend as little as possible
.
Thanks

I looked at the Corn Exchange but I didn't feel I had enough family to fill it up enough. I have now booked The Rowantree which is the smaller side of The Caves on the Cowgate. Both are really lovely when done up for a wedding.Married 30/08/14 :heartpuls0

Thanks. I remember someone mentioning the caves, but I remember them saying something about a narrow entrance is this true? Since I would rather like the husband to be to attend the wedding xD
I don't think the entrance is narrow as there are double doors into the building. There is a staircase which could maybe be construed as narrow but no more so than a home staircase.Married 30/08/14 :heartpuls0 -
The Signet Library is gorgeous but expensive; Orocco Pier in South Queensferry is boutiquey; Balbirnie House & Dunnikier Park hotels are both in/near Kirkcaldy.0

Future Groom to be here and I've done my fair share of looking at venues over the past few weeks but my OH finally found somewhere she liked and we've booked!
As for venues in Edinburgh/Fife
Edinburgh:
Apex hotels - they do good wedding packages (which are listed on their site), each building has pro's and con's, my OH wasn't too fussed on the buildings (as she's rather fussy), but the value of the packages is worth a look!
The Botanic Gardens - Packages are a bit confusing, so to get a real idea of what you need to pay, you'll need to visit
Orocco Pier - Nice hotel, I've stayed there when I used to live in Fife and the FRB was closed, pricey yes.. but it does have great views of the bridges!
We checked out the Royal college of Physicians on Queen street - quite expensive, £2500 for the venue hire along, you had to organise catering.
The glasshouse above the omni do have prices on their site but are very expensive...
Signet library is awesome (I was at a wedding there 2 years ago), but again, expensive.
Generally, apart from the chain hotels, weddings in Edinburgh are expensive, except for one, the capital (or capitol, can't remember) hotel on Costorphine hill, always busy with wedding parties.
Fife:
Craigsanquhar - very rural setting, nice part of Fife, staff seemed friendly.
Keavil House Hotel looks nice on the website, didn't get dragged to that one
As for where I eventually ended up, we headed to Perthshire (being that's where I'm from and I have the larger family) and booked the Atholl Palace in Pitlochry, prices were slightly better than Edinburgh prices, but all in all, it depends what you want and what you can afford!:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0
