I haven't, I have to go through the estate agents to talk to him, so I'll talk to them so they can get in touch with him. I can prove that I was in hospital too.

Most people are usually reasonable when you talk to them. Also the Shelter website has a lot of good advice about housing related issues http://england.shelter.org.uk/get_advice/renting_and_leasehold0

I'm a guarantor on my son's 1/8 of a student house, and I signed on the understanding that he's getting a maintenance loan, which will cover the rent. If a student is in hospital, they don't stop the loan do they ?0

The op was no longer a student. She was just still living in student digs.0
