where to buy wholesale quantities?

Now that 3rd baby has arrived expenses are shooting through the roof!

Any ideas where I can buy goods at wholesale quantities - I've tried Costco but the missus doesn't like all the brands they sell:

1) Fairy Liquitabs non bio
2) Cotton wool balls
3) Vaseline
4) Charmain toilet paper

Cheers!

Our local Lidl currently has Charmin toilet paper on offer; it's 24 rolls for £5 as my dad bought loads round for us this morning!
I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....

Fairy washing powder would be cheaper, use half a cup, washes just the same. Buy normal cotton wool put it in the airing cupboard or on a radiator and make your own cotton balls (time consuming but cheap). Go to Lidls and stock up on their charmain loo roll.....What is the vaseline for? I Know they produce a large size maybe use up Boots vouchers?

I brought 24 rolls of Charmin from Mackro BOGOF for £8.49 (48 roll in total)
  • Many thanks for suggestions, unfortunately time is short so no time to drive 20 miles to nearest Lidl and to dry up cotton wool etc and measure out 1/2 scoops of powder only to spill some and clear up the mess - hence the wholesale purchase idea!

Anyway, looks like I'll have to get out the yellow pages and start phone round wholesalers to see what the minimum quantity is!
