John Lewis Price Match V Tesco (Dyson DC47)

I have seen in my local tesco store they are selling Dyson DC47 for £259.00.

As I have a John Lewis Credit card I would prefer to purchase same vacuum from JL.(Giving me points etc)

JL are selling same vacuum at £329.95!

Called them to see if they would do a price match?Advised they would get back to me within 24hrs.

Was also advised that the vacuum sold by JL states you get extra parts? The vacuum at Tesco doesn't state that?

Think I have provided links correctly? What do you guys out there reckon?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

PS- I also have £60 in JL vouchers which I would be looking to apply towards purchase.

I bought one about 3-4 months ago for £199 from Currys.
Offers comes and goes but if you are not desperate I would advise
you to wait.
£199 was the best price for the last year as Ihavent seen any under this price.


Sorry just remembered mine is not dc47. So it might be the best price for this one.

Thanks for your reply dude,lol I almost fell of the sofa as I thought you got the DC47 at £199.

Yes am not too desperate as my current Hoover is okayish??

Shall wait and see what JL have got to say?Also look up and see how long that offer is on for at Tesco?
