I am having some friends over tomorrow evening for a 'bits and pieces' supper. Unfortunately I am working tomorrow and I wondered if I cook the Cabbage Galette tonight will it still be OK for tomorrow evening? If not anyone have any easy veggie dish I could cook in advance?
I am feeding them Jacket spuds, salad, homemade hommous, pasta salad, some roast veg, cheese board, dips etc but wanted a pie type dish that is quite filling as I know one of the men is working all day and will be HUNGRY!!!
Thank you zhari

Sorry that I'm replying to this too late - but I haven't had time to browse this site for a few days . For future reference, I find that any leftover cabbage galette tastes even better on the second day, though I didn't reheat it and served it cold. Can't see why making it the day before you serve it would make it taste any less delicious.0

You'll find the recipe, by doing a search, for Gingham's vegetarian meal planner - Spring. The thread also contains some pictures and a few different variations - enjoy!0

Thanks Organic Wanabe.
I opted for a quiche in the end as I didnt want to take a chance and poison everyone. But thank you, I will definitely use the recipe in the future as it sounds like a good, easy and filling dish. I like to have a few veggie recipies that can be made and stored as I work on Saturdays and a couple of evenings.
Trying to break the 'Take Away Habbit' with help from this site!!!!!
