How to Enter
Entrants must ‘Like’ the Thomas Cook UK Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/thomascook) and go to the ‘Ultimate Holiday’ tab.
Entrants must then complete the entry form.
Participation
No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw, but you must be a UK resident aged 18 or over.
Employees of any company within the Thomas Cook group and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Entrants accept that they will be required to take part in PR should they win a prize.
A valid email address must be submitted when entering to ensure entrants can be contacted should their entry win the Prague holiday prize. A telephone number may also be submitted for the same reason - the number will not be stored or used for marketing purposes, only for contacting the winner.
Winner selection and announcement
The winner of the main prize will be drawn completely at random from all entries in front of at least 2 witnesses, using independent software.
The winner will then be announced by 4.30pm on Friday 26th July on the Thomas Cook UK Facebook page. He/she will be emailed by 4pm the same day using the e-mail address he/she provided when entering.
His/her name can be obtained by writing to the Promoter once the contest has closed.
The winner must claim his/her prize within 21 days of being notified. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited.
The runners up winners will be announced weekly on the following dates:
1st runner up: 3rd July 2013
2nd runner up: 10th July 2013
3rd runner up: 17th July 2013
4th runner up: 24th July 2013
Contest timings
Submission period starts: 12.30pm Wednesday 27th June 2013.
Submission period ends: Midnight Wednesday 24th July 2013.
Winner announced by: 4.30pm Friday 26th July 2013.
Prize details
Thomas Cook Prize details:
A Thomas Cook holiday that can be purchased in a Thomas Cook store. To the value of £3,000 total. The customer will be put in touch with the reservations team to book their chosen holiday at the destination and hotel of their choice. If the desired holiday exceeds the £3,000 total then the customer may top up the balance of the holiday.
Subject to availability. Stay dates to be arranged at the discretion of Thomas Cook.
Once the holiday prize is booked, winners are bound by Thomas Cook booking conditions as specified on https://www.thomascook.com.
Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative, and the prize winner must travel.
Any additional extras must be paid for by the winner.
The winners are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport, correct documentation (including travel insurance) and, where asked for, have submitted advanced passenger information in advance of travel.
The prize does not include the cost of travel insurance, spending money or any other costs that do not form part of the prize package set out above. All such costs/expenditure will be payable by the winner and their travelling companion.
In addition to these terms and conditions, the prize holiday is subject to Thomas Cook Tour Operations Ltd booking conditions, a copy of which can be provided on request.
Once the booking is confirmed changes to the names, date or nature of the booking are not permitted.
Prize cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount.
The Prize is redeemable only by the named winner and must not be sold onto any other party.
Entry implies acceptance of these rules.
The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
