People text in to ask random questions and you (if you're recruited) answer them!

Hi,
If you do a search on this forum for aqa you will find a recent thread relating to recent vacancies they had.
They aren't currently recruiting for the UK but they are for Ireland.
I am in the process of answering my first 30 questions before they are reviewed and find out whether I am offered a contract.
I am really enjoying it.

What sort of questions becca? (without giving anything away of course!)
And what happens if the question comes through and you're not there to answer it?

Hi Skint_Catt,
The sort of questions I am answering are those in the queue to have been texted to AQA awaiting an answer.
Questions so far have been something along the lines of
"Where is ** bar in London and what are their opening times"
"Name all the cities in ** state in America"
All the questions that are sent it to AQA form a queue and therefore are answered by those researchers that are online at that point in them. Therefore, people are probably texting in questions now and there are researchers answering, but it makes no difference to me as I am at work and do not have the AQA system on my computer.
Does that help?0 -
Yes, thank you!
Will probably look out for it next time they are recruiting then! :j 0 -

Hi Stella,
I've had a quick look and have sent an email through. I am just awaiting them sending the questionaire through.
Can I ask do you know what they pay their researchers and how much time you have to spend online to make it financially beneficial as I will be on maternity leave soon and this will allow me time to do this quite a bit (baby sick and screaming permitted!!! lol)0 -
AQA pays 30p per answer. You can work as much or as little as you want, the service is 24 hours, so you can log on at anytime. I work for them, and normal do evenings, 6 to 10pm and weekends. I earn between £600 and £900 a month. I know of people who any a bit more. The potential is there, but it is not easy money. Some questions are really hard.
You get reviews from a Senior Reseacher as well, you have to meet set targets on each review.
You cam PM should you need help.0 -
I take it cause you do it over the computer then that you get all your answers off search engines and stuff then and then text back via the computer. it does sound more beneficial to do this than mystery shopping though. Athough i'm a little worried about the tax man and his friend national insurance as I already work full time.0
