Land Registry, +0/1% MOM, +0.5% YOY

See this one hasn't got a mention today - not even in the press where it would normally. Nationwide have taken over.

Average house price now £161,969.

That's just £800 more expensive than May 2012, and actually cheaper than July and August.

Cheaper than the majority of 2010 too. So it's not all bad! Since 2010 they've hardly moved on the LR.

    3-4 months behind.

    Excludes new builds.

And when you include the repossession index, it's up 1.2% YoY. :)

You love comparing things that can't be compared don't you.

To be honest I'd rather they weren't going up but they seem to be.

I haven't compared anything. Wish you would stop doing this.

Just said it didn't get a mention and the nationwide has taken centre stage.

London: 0.7% monthly and 5.0% annually (even better Wandsworth: 0.8% and
    11.1%), that'll do nicely thanks.

I would like to see average price level out at 175K....Give everyone a chance. Anymore and people will actually be priced out.
