Lol, that was before I 'started'!!! ;-) who am I kidding eh? I think money is something I'm always going to struggle with, just like the massively unhealthy relationship I have with food :-(

  • Thought i would pop onto your thread as you view my p*rn spend ;)

I guess my question is...why not sell these expensive things you purchased, such as the lenses and the mixer (whatever that is) to raise some cash to pay some back?

Ha, at least my debt is from non sex related purchases!! ;)

Yes I could sell them but I really don't want to, I love them and gets lots and lots of use out of them *justification much*?!

I have about £500 worth of stuff to sell so I will deal with that first and then reassess :) I'm back at uni/work on Monday and will be working crazy shifts as well as being a single mum of 3 so I have barely any spare time....but during my 3 weeks off in August I'm planning an eBay frenzy!!
  • ha ha good justification there indeed!

Just make sure if u stop using it you flog it :)

Oops, yesterday wasn't a nsd - I paid £6.20 to my Hermes for postage for a lens I sold on eBay....I figure that's an acceptable spend seeing as profited from the sale ;)

Henna worked well :D washed it off at 12 last night and went to bed with wet hair so it looks pretty poop this morning but you can tell the colour is nice!! The last one I put on was too orangey so went for a different shade this time....a bit darker and its a lot nicer :D

Today is mega busy :-/ family visiting, a weeks worth of ironing to do for me and 3 kiddies, big shop and might go and see a car....busy busy Araboo!! Excited about finishing mat leave :D I start a new placement tomorrow in paediatric theatres, really looking forward to it. Not happy about the 5:30am alarm I'll be setting though!!

I am sooo the same!! I think I'll always struggle with spending, I get carried away and somehow manage to convince myself of reasons why I "need" things!!

We'll get there in the end I'm sure!

Long time away - soooooooo exhausted with work!! Had an up and down week with regard to money :-/ off the top of my head -

    Costco - £75
    Asda - £91
    Amazon - £30
Weight watchers online (3 months) - £33 (£15 cashback to come though)

Spent the odd bit of change too. Oh and diesel - £50 :( Definitely need to start a spending diary, money just disappears!!

Too sleepy to write any more, will update when I can and keep trying.
