  • Thanks everyone. :D

I've edited my post, LBM was in 2009 not 2011.

We have been drinking fizzy wine and planning the future. I've had many a dark day in the last 4 years, I can't believe they are finally behind us!

It's the successful conclusion of the journey that counts. What's two years, apart from 24 months, 104 weeks, or 730 days?
Hope the fizzy wine was good.
Proud to have dealt with my debts, became debt free on 03/11/2011. Repaid £54,723.41 LBM May 2006.

I have imagined writing this post so many times, and now I'm finally doing it! I have just paid off the last of my credit card so I am debt free today for the first time in my adult life.

    £30443.90 paid since 01.09.2009

That's £21.79 per DAY for nearly 4 years.

Thank you MSE and the Debt Free Wannabees x

Well done, you have done yourself a huge favour. In this day and age being debt free is somewhat uncommon. See if you can now save £21.79 a day for the next four years. Having £30,443 behind you will be real peace of mind. All the best.
