    Yes, they should have tried to contact you at the last address they had for you.

    I don't understand why the statement they sent to you was addressed to your ex.

    I'm not at expert with this and I really hope your solicitor can help you sort it out.

    To answer this, my bank used to write to my ex husband at my address as his name was first on the bank account we had shared.
    If I cut you out of my life I can guarantee you handed me the scissors

    aaah, hopefully that will make sense. The letters have gone out to the debt collector and the bank. He has asked for full breakdowns and what they did to try and contact me, fingers crossed JC x
