I always use non-bio as have sensitive skin, it helps keep colours fresh too s is much more gentle on clothes.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0

They use non-fast dyes on denim and are manufactured to fade. The only solution is to not wash them much or dye them0

Always wash and dry jeans and trousers inside out. Dry indoors away from direct sunlight. Wash at no more than 30 degrees. Do not use powders. They contain bleach. Laundry Liquids are particularly good for washing coloured clothes, as they don't contain bleaching agents, which break down the coloured dyes in the fabric. Some detergents are specifically formulated for blacks. One of them is Woolite Concentrated Liquid for Mixed Darks.

My last pair of black jeans from Wallis faded after a couple of washes and I've been putting off buying more in case the same happens.0 -
