Hi everyone...

Do the store cupboard challenge
Have received egg card and done BT to current acc
Will have a NSD
That's about it I think0 -
Hopefully a NSD, .....at the beginning of a NS month.....
Actually starting my first spending diary today (does that mean it should be blank at the end of June?)
forgot to say that supper is courtesy of a mystery shopping trip (3rd this week!)0 -
Today I have/will:
- checked online banking (& transferred bill money my flatmate gave me in cash!)
- charging mobile phone at work
- checking freecycle in case anyone offers a coatstand
- making a shopping list
- arranged to borrow a backpack for going away next weekend rather than buying one
Think that's about it - completely overslept again this morning, so will have to buy lunch... *storm slinks off, hanging her head in shame*

Afternoon
Today -
- Took kids to park for free entertainment
- piggy clicks/comps
- leftover chicken for dinner0 -
Today so far I have loaded up the pushchair with empty bottles (and the baby of course!) and walked a 4 mile round trip to the bottle bank. Normally I'd just jump in the car, but it's a beautiful day here, and I REALLY don't want to use the £10 of diesel I put in the car last night.
Also today:
* Check online banking and review budgets
* Meal plan for n/w and write shopping list for Monday (£50 budget but need a few things this week as two weeks worth of store cupboard challenge has pretty much cleaned me out!)
* Finish washing while the sun's out.
* Try to find two anti dust mite sheets on freecycle (Can u believe my dog has an allergy to dust mites!)

Today I looked at my CC balance for the first time in 6 months...
It is at £3500, ok there is and £800 payment from OH going onto it but still it was £0 in January. I knew something wasn't right when I was worried about looking at it! I've been through clearing down debt before and you'd think I'd know better but look what happens when you take your eye off the ball and "drift".
So this weekend I will:
1. Get Money totally up to date
2. Make a list of all financial commitments I have to make in the next few months.
3. Play around with some figures but accept that I will be using my savings to clear most of this.
4. Start making a list of everything I used to do to get the CC balance to 0 in the first place: lunches, cycle to work at least once a week...0 -
I feel very positive at the beginning of a new month...!
Today I have:
- Checked online banking and called the bank about a payment that seems to have been held up
- Brought lunch to work
- We have a 'store cupboard' dinner ready to prepare tonight so nothing to spend.
- Will buy season ticket for bus for next week tonight so nothing to spend on travel next week
- Updated my debt diary - I think this is going to keep me on trackFiona xx
