Answer phone message from CCS???

Hi all

Not sure this is the right forum but...

We had an answer phone message last night, not addressing anyone in particular saying 'This is a call from CCS, please call us back on bla bla to confirm you have received our letter'

Neither me or my parents recall any letter from a company called CCS, don't know who they are or who the letter was for, we decided not to call as we didn't want to confirm something no one had?!

Any ideas?

There are several debt collectors with those initials, so who knows really.

If no-one has written then I would just treat it as a phone spam.

Have you tried putting the telephone number into a search engine? It's what I usually do with an unknown number, there's often a good site that comes up if people have had calls from the same number before.

They are a scam company. They just cold called me giving me a list of bogus reasons why I was missold my mortgage. They promptly gave me a list of bogus complaint reasons (none of which are true). The call ended quickly when I told them I was an IFA.
