Any one? Iv never had to do this before.
  • Not sure why you think a section 72 claim is appropriate?

What tax code is employer using at the moment i.e. on latest payslip?

Did you get a tax code notice for the current tax year, probable issues between January and March 2013?

Right, iv looked through all my old payslips and P60's etc.

I had two jobs in the tax year I underpaid 10/11. In the first job I earnt £4500.44 April to september when I left and paid £360 Tax.

The I started my new job in october and I earnt £9343.80 and paid £572.80 Tax.

The P60 for that tax year (ending April 2011) shows in current employment I earnt £9343.80 and paid £572.80 Tax, which is correct, but it doesnt show any amount in previous employment. So it looks to me like I got taxed as though that was my only job that year? not taking into account the job previous where I earnt the £4500.

Does that make any sense to anyone? Whos responsibility is this? My tax code etc was always correct, except for the first month of my new job were I paid emergency tax of £192.80, which they then refunded the month after.

I also have a copy of the letter that says the tax code should have been amended in 2012 to 585L to make up for the tax I didnt pay, which clearly wasnt actioned.

When you started your new job did you hand in a P45 or did you complete a P46?
[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.
