1. There is one (1) prize of a safari holiday to Samburu National Game Reserve in Kenya, being offered for two (2) people travelling together, or £10,000 in the form of a cheque.

2. The prize offered includes the following: Return Economy Class flights from an airport of our choice in London to Samburu (via Nairobi), return airport transfers in Samburu, seven (7) nights accommodation staying at the Samburu Game Lodge sharing a twin or double bedded room, inclusive of daily breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, two daily game drives and comprehensive travel insurance (excluding pre-existing medical conditions).

3. The prize must be taken before 30th June 2014 but cannot be taken between 15th December 2013 and 3rd January 2014, 28th to 31st March 2014 or 14th to 28th April 2014. All travel must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5.

4. All holiday locations and dates are subject to availability. Travel will be subject to flight and hotel availability at the date of booking the trip.
5. The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine or the prize may be forfeited. The prize winner should book their trip at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date.

6. Neither Channel 5 or Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for hotels / tours / transport companies etc. being unavailable, withdrawn or amended. In the event of this, Cloud Nine will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative.

7. Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the winner.

8. Passports and Visas are the responsibility and at the cost of the prize winner.

9. There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the holiday. The prize is non-transferrable.

10. Comprehensive travel insurance is included in the prize; however it does not cover pre-existing medical conditions and has an upper age limit of 79 years. In the event that, upon the winner applying for the cover, cover is not granted, the winner must seek adequate cover for the travelling party from another insurer. This will be the prize winner’s responsibility and proof of such insurance will be required prior to departure. A cash contribution, equivalent to the cost of the cover declined, will be made directly to the winner upon presentation of proof of the requisite cover.

11. The prize winner and their party (where applicable) are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / inoculations required by any destination country. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the prize winner and their party (where applicable).

12. Transport between home and the UK departure/arrival point is the responsibility of the prize winner.

15. Should the winner choose the £10,000, it will be provided in the form of a cheque made payable to the winner.

1) The prize comprises:
a) Return flights for two in economy class from a London airport of our choice to Mal! International Airport, Maldives;
b) Return sea plane transfers for two between the airport and the hotel in the Maldives;
c) Seven nights' accommodation at 5* Medhufushi Island Resort in a Beach Villa on a half-board basis (breakfast and lunch or dinner), based on the winner and his/her companion sharing a twin/double Beach Villa (subject to availability);
d) Travel insurance for two.

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their Congratulations Letter from Element and at least six weeks in advance of his/her preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.

3) The prize must be taken before 30 April 2014. The prize cannot be taken between 19 December 2013 and 10 January 2014 (inclusive), during Bank/Public Holidays in the UK (26 August 2013; 18 April 2014; 21 April 2014) or over Easter (18 April – 21 April 2014).

4) The winner and his/her companion must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to the Maldives. It is the responsibility of the winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for themselves and their travelling companion.

5) Travel insurance terms exclude pre-existing medical conditions and insurance is subject to standard policy excesses and an upper age limit of 74 years.

6) Where the winner is under 21 years old, the winner must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the winner or his/her companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and/or his/her companion adhere to the local laws in the Maldives. It is highly recommended that the winner and his/her companion obtain advice from a medical professional in advance of travelling and ensure that vaccinations are up to date.

7) The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK, additional meals and drinks which are not included in the prize, additional excursions, attractions, additional treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations where required and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.

8) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
