    Personally I wouldn't stop the share save scheme if the shares were that much above the option price although it is a risk because if the share price collapses you'd have been better off saving the money into your mortgage instead.

    If the share price remains as it is you'll be able to clear approx 22k of your mortgage if its a 5 year scheme or 13K if its a 3 year scheme and this is likely to be more than stopping the scheme now and putting the extra £250 a month into your mortgage.
