I live in Edinburgh and I've just had a couple of guys at the door wearing high visibility jackets with "ADT" on.

They were saying that they work for a company called "Alternative Savings" and were installing cavity wall insultation and loft insulation under the government backed Affordable Warmth Scheme. They wanted me to fill in a form and i said i would check it out and fill it in and they'd come back to collect it at a later date.

They said it was completely free to me, paid for by the government. And everybody in the stair had to agree to it for us to get it. As they were asking for personal details I was skeptical and thought i'd check it out.

Just wondered if anybody knows anything about this?
