Didgilogic model no. D15LCDTV-1 was retailing in Asda for £110 but today they were reduced down to £75! This was in the Swansea store, not sure if it is a nationwide promo.

Is it a High definition HD input and a resolution of 1280 x 1024?
Otherwise dont touch it. The price of televisions is falling considerably.
Its not even fit for the kitchen. Doesnt come with an inbuilt digital tuner.
But on the bright side it'lll make a great kids telly IF it has RGB or composite inputs for playstation / xbox/ Wii
Hope this helps.0 -
Its not hd ready. Resolution is 1024x768. It has a vga socket and also a scart socket. I will be using it in my kitchen along with my digisender!0

Also could be used for your Pc, although 15" is bare minimum these days.0

No it's about the most un-helpful post I've seen for a while and that's going some recently.
It's a £75 TV from Asda and you ask if has HD ???? I can see how the distinct likelyhood it does 'might' confuse a stupid person!
It's a cheap TV for people who want to watch TV - would all Techno Snobs please leave such posts alone, unless you've got something useful to say.

I have to agree with MINCER. It depends on what you need and how much you are paying for it. I bought a non-HD 26" last year for £300 for the bedroom and it's great; I have my normal TV signal going into it, along with my DVD player and most importantly, my laptop docking station permanently wired up to it via DVI. The latter lets me watch stuff recorded from cable on my media-centre downstairs over the network, and I can remote-control Windows Media Player via Bluetooth using my old K700i phone.
I have worked with electronics technology all my life and I make calculated decisions based on my needs. I bought the TV knowing full-well HD was on the way. My reasoning: there's little point to HD on a 26", and when the analogue signal goes, I can buy a FreeView box for <£20. Job done.
So, a 15" TV for £75? Bargain! The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

Again, I have to agree with MINCER. A couple of weeks ago I bought a similar LCD tv from ebuyer for £76 delivered (offer now finished). This is perfect for the caravan with my freeview box. On a 15 inch TV I wouldn't need HD with the screen being small, & it will be a few years before HD is transmitted on freeview, so even by them I'd have had my moneys worth.
Buying from ASDA is a lot better than buying from ebuyer, ASDA's returns policy is better & it's easier to return stuff.
And as for composite inputs, I've never seen a LCD TV that doesn't have this.
So I agree, this is a bargain, anyone in the market for one of these go for it.
If anyone can't get one of these or want's an extra couple of inches ebuyer are doing a 17" LCD TV for £95 delivered (using google checkout)Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -
does this have pc input any ideas?0

This is a bargain. I wish I could get one for my caravan. I've checked with 4 local Asdas and they do not have it in stock. They are putting out all the new televisions now, with a price increase. I agree that it is a lot easier to take something back to Asda than over the Internet, and places like Comet, Currys etc. I bought a faulty one a few weeks ago from Asda which was faulty in one respect. It was a Polaroid one for £120 and I wanted to get an exchange. I had, however, bought the last one. I had a refund without any problem. I'm still looking now. I wish Aldi or Lidl would get some in quickly before the holidays start.0
