I have had to increase my od by £200 pounds as had a really bad few months. I only used £20 of the increase last month - but upping it was the only way to make sure that i didnt get charges. Work owe me about £84 in expenses (normally dont have these but had to buy materials for a course i am running) i will get it back but i will have to wait a bit! I also only owed £500 on my od beginning of the year but through circumstances (to boring and long winded to go into) it has shot up to 900. (official o.d limit now 1100)
Today thought i took two impulse purchases back!! i bought a outfit for my friends baby - just cause i saw it in the sale and thought it was so lovely - but had to put my DFW hat on - it wasnt her birthday or anything so i took it back today and got a full refund...........Also cancelled my order for red crocs (mary jane style sigh....) as i wanted them for my friends baby christening which was two weeks ago!! they didnt come in time (am glad cause i didnt really need them i wore my black crocs) I REALLY wanted these shoes but totally and utterly DIDNT need them! Luckily they have cancelled and i didnt incure any penatly and as they hadnt come didnt even loose out on p&p. So saved a total of £38 pound there.
......... but had to spend the money again as i was desperately in need of some tshirts (my old ones are so old i cant wear them to work anymore!!!) and they had a really good deal on in evans (am also trying to loose weight not only for health but bigger size clothes are always so expensive).
So am sad i am back to square one on paying of my O.D BUT am pleased i recognised my impulse spend and wasnt embarrased to take them back - i used to be a terrible impulse buyer especially in sales but havent given into temptation for ages. I have also looked at other areas where i have laxed a bit, especially our food budget... the take away crept back in (not good for my money or weight!).
So now i am now repledging to DFW forum....... so £900 OD must GO!!!

Hey misfire
you should be really proud of yourself. It's so easy to continue in that downwards spiral but look how well you've stopped yourself. Returning impulse buys - now that shows real determination :T
